The clerk produces a monthly report for Council. This is a report of matters dealt with since the last Council meeting. Reports may also be produced to inform the business at other meetings.

The Council publishes its annual report each May. This includes an account of Council business over the last year and includes a brief summary of the income and expenditure for the year ending 31st March.

Reports more than twelve months old may be obtained by contacting the clerk.

2017/18 Annual Report

At the end of the finacial year the clerk produces an Annual Return that needs to reviewed by an external auditor appointed by the Audit Commission. The Annual Governance Statement and Accounting Statement can be viewed by following the link below. The Accounting Statement has been signed off by the internal auditor but may be subject to change following the external audit. Electors have the right to make objections to the accounts and to inspect accounting records. These records will be made available, on reasonable notice, by application to the clerk between Monday 11th June 2018 and Friday 20th July 2017.

Full Council Meetings

These are usually held on the first Wednesday of every month at Westfield Church Hall.  The exceptions are in December and January where they are held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month. A list of meetings for 2020/21 can be found here. Please note under current government guidelines all Parish Council meetings are being held remotely via Zoom.  The public can still join the meeting but we do require 24 hours notice.  Planning has currently been delegated to the Clerk in support of the Chairman.  Any Councillor can raise concerns about any planning application and ask any item to be brought to full council.

The full council meetings are starting from 7.30pm. All agendas must be posted on the noticeboards (if it is safe to do so) and the website three clear days (not including the date of issue and meeting, Sundays, Christmas, Easter and bank holidays). Agendas and meeting reports can be found hereMinutes of the meetings can be found here. The public are encouraged to attend any meeting but the Clerk does require 24 hours notice to facilitate this for the virtually held Zoom Meetings.  There will be a section at the beginning of the meeting is set aside for questions from the public.

The Annual Parish Assembly - Unfortunately the 2020 Parish Assembly had to be cancelled due to the Cornoavirus (Covid-19) outbreak.
