A FREE SERVICE BROUGHT TO

WESTFIELD

East Sussex Hearing Resource Centre is a registered charity working in partnership with Adult Social Care to provide a no charge mobile information and advice service for Deaf, deafened and hard of hearing people living in East Sussex. The vehicle is equipped to offer demonstrations of assistive equipment and hearing screening tests.

The mobile unit will be visiting Westfield on Thursday 23rd June, and will be in The New Inn Car Park, Main Road from 10.30am – 12.30pm.

The bus is accessible to wheelchair users and representatives from both the East Sussex Hearing Resource Centre and Adult Social Care will be available to provide individual information and advice on all aspects of hearing loss.

The latest Rother Citizens Panel Newsletter 21 gives, among other information, details and a map showing the draft proposals from the Boundary Commission for changing ward boundaries in Rother.  Sedlescombe will be a ward with Westfield up to the boundary with Hastings.  Click here for the newsletter. The boundaries are open for consultation until 16 June 2016.

All the information that was on the old website is now on this new one, but some of the sections have been rearranged a little.

The WCA is holding a Shakespeare themed Scarecrow Competition. Entry is free, and welcome from everyone - all ages, individuals, groups and organisations, and businesses.

Entry forms with rules are available from the village shops. The forms need to be in by Saturday 14th May. The scarecrows need to be displayed from 28th May until 4th June, and prizes and certificates will be presented at the WCA Village Fete on 11th June on the Parish Field.
