Can Draw@Westfield Summer Workshops 20th August 2024
This workshop will be held in the Westfield Church Hall at 9.30am - 12.30 pm on Tuesday 20/08/24. An alternative local venue to be confirmed if works in the Church Hall go ahead.
John Tyson is an art tutor and local artist. He runs weekly after school clubs at Primary schools in Bexhill, Willingdon and Cross-in-Hand as well as being a regular member of the teaching supply team at a local secondary school. He is fully insured and has CRB checks with advanced DBS and Safeguarding Training.
This is suitable for all ability levels.
The three hour workshop will take the form of a demonstration and interactive tutorial and then you will be shown how to complete your own original drawing and painting which you can take home with you. Materials will be provided and you can bring a drink and a snack for the break time.
Places are limited to 15 places so it will be first come first served and there is a £5 deposit to be paid online but the balance can be paid on the day.
The cost is £20 per person per session but an adult (over 18) accompanying a younger child only pays £5. So, for example, if you bring a child you pay £25 and you both take an active role in the workshop and produce your own work. If an older child brings a younger sibling then the total cost would be £40.
