The Westfield Community Association was founded to promote the social and recreational well being of the inhabitants of Westfield and to provide facilities for achieving this aim. It comprises representatives from voluntary groups and individuals elected each year to form the Westfield Community Association Council. A copy of the constitution is available at the foot of this page.

WCA Events are organised throughout the year. Carols around the tree, seniors tea party, barn dances are a few community events organised.

Westfield Village Picnic. There was no fete in 2019, but the WCA organised a village picnic on Saturday 22nd June on the Parish Field.

The WCA council is made up of representatives from many local clubs and associations, These meetings are to facilitate the running of the Community Hall (Workhouse Lane), the publication of the Westfield Community Newsletter and to assist with community based projects.
At the 2017 AGM on 19 June the current chairman stepped down but remained as a council member and on the Hall Management Committee. At the council meeting on Monday 10 July a vote resulted in the Chair position being filled by Annie Nijhuis.  There was no change of Secretary, This email address is being protected from spambots. As in 2017, a couple of vacancies still remain on the Community Council for individual residents.  If you are interested in being on this committee please contact the Chair, Mrs Annie Nijhuis (This email address is being protected from spambots.
