Westfield Christmas Lights.

Yes, we will be lighting up Westfield village again on Friday the 2nd December.
Bearing in mind the current energy situation, it is likely that the residents will reduce their displays.
We are sure that thanks to the reputation we have built up over the years of Westfield Christmas Lights many visitors from far and wide will still be queuing up to view the display.
After the fantastic best year ever, we raised £16,106.99 last Christmas, which broke all our records. Topping up brought the total to £110,00 for St Michaels Hospice (Hastings and Rother). Thank you to everyone in the village for your support we couldn’t have done it without you.

Ken has decided that we should raise money for two smaller charities this year so we are going to support a charity in our own village
Veterans’ Growth of Westfield Village https://veteransgrowth.org/ and another local charity, Charity for kids in St Leonards on Sea http://charityforkids.co.uk/

We are all in tough times with the energy crisis and would really appreciate the Westfield Villagers support, however small it might be, by lighting up the village and making it a bright Christmas for our visitors. We are going to ask again for sponsorship and help from local businesses so please do let us know if you know of any that will support or help the Westfield Lights.

The Westfield Lights Team are two very important members down, hence why we are little late with our announcement if any of you know Russ and Rachel, they are having tough times at the moment as Russ “the teams man mountain” was sadly diagnosed with cancer in the summer and is currently undergoing chemotherapy until the end of the year. He is doing very well and Ken and all the team would like to wish him well with his treatment and thank them for all their help with the lights and look forward to them being back with the team next year.

If you would like to help us with the lights, we need help with putting up the lights, marshalling the car parking and if anyone has a contact for getting road slow signs and no parking cones, please do contact us as it will be greatly appreciated.

Don’t forget updates will be on the Westfield Christmas Lights 2022 Facebook page and the Westfield Christmas Lights 2022 google business listing.
Thank you all for your ongoing support
Ken and the Westfield Lights Team.
