Westfield Community Support Number

Residents from Westfield can now call 0800 246 1506 open 11am to 3pm Monday to Saturday.

This is a support line for those self isolating or anyone who just wants to talk. Please pass this number to anyone in the parish who you think would benefit from it. Many of those in isolation do not have access to the internet so word of mouth is very important.

If you’d like to volunteer to take calls please contact Jane Clarke on 01424 575 266. It is not a medical advice line please contact NHS online for medical advice on Covid-19.

THIS MEETING HAS NOW BEEN CANCELLED

T he Parish Council usually holds its meetings in the Church Hall on the first Wednesday of the month preceded by a Planning meeting however due to the coronavirus outbreak these will not take place until further notice.

However an Extraordinary.General Meeting will be held there at 6.30pm on Monday 23 March to discuss exceptional arrangements to be put in place during the intervening period.

Members of the public are welcome to attend.

Our local stores are here to help.

Archers are able to make deliveries of meat etc.
Londis VIllage Stores are well stocked at present although they have shortened their opening times slightly.
The New Inn has a vegetable stall and can arrange delivery.

The Doctors and Pharmacy are open as usual but please refer to the notice on their front door. Repeat prescriptions now require 5 working days before they are availble for collection.
