Good news!
Westfield Community Choir will be starting on the 23rd July from 7-8 pm in the church. Choir mistress Laura and Min will be there from about 6.30pm so if you want to arrive early and say hello that would be great. Please bring along a drink for yourself. The cost will be £3 adult £2 child.
Laura will get us singing in rounds for the first session and we can progress from there.
We are running for 3 weeks then we will have a break for 2 weeks and start again after that.
Please don't forget the quiz on the 22nd July at The New Inn. Pop in to book. The money raised will help enormously to keep the costs of the choir to a minimum.
Lastly we could really do with a voluntary pianist so if you know of anyone, please beg them to help.

The Parish Council are delighted that in conjunction with Ruth Carter from Westfield History, we will be organising a display to commemorate 100 years since the end of World War 1.
This will take place on the weekend of the 3rd/4th November in the Church Hall, and we are inviting residents of Westfield to contribute to a 'Wall of Remembrance'.
If you would like your relatives to be included in this, then please complete one of these forms and return it to the Parish Clerk, or you can drop it into the New Inn. Download your form here The deadline for submissions is the 9th September.
We will be providing more information about the display soon, as well as details about a film showing on the evening of the 3rd November.
