From Westfield Cricket Club:

We had a great day at Westfield School yesterday (Wed 15th July) with a cricket taster session run by Sussex Cricket Foundation combined with Westfield C.C. open day supported by ECB and Waitrose who donated water and oranges as refreshments for all of the children.

A really special thanks to Simon Corke for organising the events at the school as well as all the teachers, teaching assistants and most importantly the children, who were brilliant. We look forward to seeing some of the youngsters playing for Westfield C.C. in the not too distant future. Also thank you to both Colin Brook, who is Vice-President of the cricket club as well as a school Governor, and to Jackie Smith who is a school Governor and a Parish Councillor for coming along to support the day.

Didn't they do well!  Click here to see photos of the fete. With thanks to Dave Pankhurst and others.
